October 4 - 9:30 AM 2:00 PM
At both our 9:30 am and 11:00 am services, we will be celebrating 192 years of God’s faithfulness at Liberty Baptist Church. The speaker will be Associate Pastor Ishmael LaBiosa.
As provided in previous years, there will be a catered fellowship meal that will happen in two shifts. There will be a meal served at 11:00 am and another meal served at 12:00pm. These two meals will occur immediately after the 9:30 am and 11:00 am services and will be served by the Fellowship Committee through a buffet line in the Old Fellowship Hall. October 4 - 4:00pm
You are invited to worship the Lord through music and prayer as we ordain Ishmael LaBiosa. The Elders will officially ordain him to the pastoral ministry. Join us in the Sanctuary on Sunday, October 4th at 4 pm for this special ceremony.
October 10 - 8am
Liberty Kids will have a fall-themed float included in this year’s Annual Railroad Festival parade on Saturday morning, October 10th. Any children who want to ride on the float should register online by October 5th. If you have any questions, please contact the church office (434-352-2336).
October 16 - 6pm
Grab your Nerf gun, your family, and a friend (or five) and join us for a crazy night of bunker battles, nachos, and a fall-themed devotional on Friday, October 16th starting at 6:00 pm! All families with kids 2-years-old through 5th grade are invited! We will provide plenty of ammo, eye protection, and nachos for all!

There will be a Widow's Garden Party on Saturday, October 17th at Longacre Bed & Breakfast starting at noon. Please sign up online or call the church (434-352-2336).
October 17 - 5pm
Join the Sojourners (ages 45-65) for a game night and pizza on Saturday, October 17th starting at 5:00 pm in the upstairs youth area of the Ministry Center. Please bring a snack to share. Register online by Monday, October 12th if you plan to attend.
October 24 - 9am
A New Members Class is scheduled for Saturday, October 24th starting at 9:00 am in rooms 206/207 for anyone who is interested in becoming a member of Liberty Baptist Church. This class will be a time to ask questions, as well as familiarize yourself with the Church Structure, Communication Chart, By-Laws, Baptist Faith, etc. For anyone interested in attending this class, please register online or call the office (434-352-2336) by Wednesday, October 14th.
October 24 - 5pm
Bring the whole family and join us on October 24th for a fun fall evening at Dark Leaf Farms! We'll gather from 5:00-8:00 pm for a potluck dinner, so bring your favorite soup, casserole, side dish, dessert, or drink to share. After we eat, enjoy all the farm has to offer, including barrel rides, hayrides, pedal carts, the tunnel slide, and finish the night by taking on the Haunted Corn Maze together. We can't wait to spend an evening of food, fellowship, and fall fun with our middle and high school families!
October 24 - 7pm
Join the Weekenders (25-45 year olds) for a fun night out at the Liberty University Bowling Alley! Sign up by October 5th and you'll be assigned a team ahead of time, and each team will come dressed in its own theme for the evening. We'll bowl, enjoy some friendly competition, share plenty of laughs, and grab dinner together. Come ready to have fun and meet some new people! The American Red Cross Blood Mobile will be in the Fellowship Hall on Monday, October 26th from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. If you would like to schedule a time to donate blood, please call 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org.
October 31 - Noon
On Saturday, October 3lst starting at noon, join us at Liberty Field for a fun afternoon of hayrides, candy and inflatables! Kids and families can visit all the decorated trunks, collecting candy as they go. Then, stay and play on a variety of inflatables to work off some of that sugary energy!
