Nursery
The nursery at LBC is operated by a combination of paid and volunteer nursery workers. We provide a clean, safe environment for your children. Child care is provided for children up to age 4 at every worship gathering.The nursery provides pagers for parents of infants so they can let them know if their child needs them.
Sunday School
Training children in the Christian faith is a high priority at LBC. We have a comprehensive teaching curriculum for your children. The teaching is done on an age-appropriate level in an encouraging environment. The seven preschool and children’s Sunday School classes offered are: 1&2 year olds

Children's Church
Children’s church serves as a supplement to our morning worship service (11 am). Children ranging from four years old through kindergarten are welcome to attend. Children’s church has an age appropriate Bible lesson during the preaching time of the 11 am worship service.Awana
Young people hold a special place in Jesus’ heart. He created them. He sacrificed His life for their sins. He longs for them to know, love and serve Him. He desires to spend eternity with them. His kingdom belongs to such as these.That’s why kids matter so deeply to Awana. Awana is a worldwide ministry that believes that Jesus is the answer to every child’s needs, particularly for salvation. Awana programs and materials have been carefully crafted to help churches clearly and consistently communicate the good news of Christ and His plan for their lives, as expressed in His Word, each week of the Awana year. Our Awana program meets every Sunday Night from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 pm.

Royal Ambassadors
Royal Ambassadors (RAs) reaches boys for Christ and leads them to become Ambassadors for Christ through developing Biblical character and living an on-mssion lifeystyle. RAs is a Bible-centered, church-related, mission education organization for boys in first through sixth grades. They meet at Liberty on Wednesday nights from 6:45 to 8 pm.www.royalambassadors.org
Girls In Action
Girls in Action (GAs) is a Southern Baptist missions organization for girls in first through sixth grades. Throughout the year GAs work on personal and group projects that develop Christian character and an on-mission lifestyle. Our GAs meet on Wednesday nights from 6:45 to 8 pm.

Mission Friends
Mission Friends is the preschool missions organization of WMU. The age range is 4 years through kindergarten. Preschoolers become aware of God's love, and they learn that others need to hear about this good news! They are involved in learning, praying, giving, and doing missions. They learn of missions work in North America and throughout the world. Each month they learn about a missionary in a different place. Our Mission Friends meets from 6:45 to 8 pm on Wednesday nights.
LBC Weekly Preschool
LBC weekday preschool is a Christian based, half-day preschool for ages 3 and 4. It primarily uses the A BEKA curriculum. It is a nurturing environment to prepare your children for kindergarten. The schedule of the LBC weekday preschool follows the Appomattox County school schedule. To enroll your child please contact the church office at 434-352-2336.
